We review here a recommendation by the State Bar's Disciplinary Board that petitioner Melvin Belli be suspended from the practice of law in the State of California for one year. Mr. Belli stands accused of wilful violations of rule 2, section a, of the Rules of Professional Conduct, which declares, in part, that "[a] member of the State Bar shall not solicit professional employment by advertisement or otherwise...
