Appeal is taken from a conviction for murder without malice. Punishment was assessed by the jury at two years.

The record reflects that the deceased died of gunshot wounds inflicted by appellant on the night of June 9, 1972. The appellant, testifying in his own behalf, stated that deceased attacked him and that he shot deceased in self-defense.
