Complainants, Odie Lee and Doris Taylor, brought an action in personam [pursuant to Tit. 7, § 1109, Code of Alabama 1940 (Recompiled 1958)] against respondents, Riley A. and Irene C. Watson, to quiet title to the following described residential lot in Huntsville, Alabama, viz.:
