The defendant was indicted for possession, and possession with intent to sell, of marihuana and LSD, and was convicted by a jury as charged. The principal issue raised by the defendant on this appeal under G.L.c. 278, §§ 33A-33G, is the denial of his pre-trial motion to suppress evidence2 which was the product of a warrantless entry into and search of his apartment by the police.
