In November 1969, an Ohio statute became effective which provided a procedure to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday by permit holders in such areas who by election permitted such sales, R. C. 4301.351 provides that the sale on Sundays be submitted at a special election to be held at the same time as the general election.
