We issued an order to the Sheriff of the County of Los Angeles directing that he show cause why the petitioner, a California parolee, should not be relieved of a "parole hold" (Pen. Code, § 3060) following his indictment and arrest by federal authorities for narcotic violations. The People contend that the prerevocation hearing mandate in Morrissey v.
