Defendant Walter William Kennedy appeals his convictions for assault with intent to kill and first-degree robbery.

At trial the state introduced evidence of Kennedy's two prior convictions for uttering forged instruments. A deputy circuit clerk testified Kennedy had pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced to two concurrent ten-month terms.
