Iley Dotch and Roosevelt Kaufman were charged with murder. R.S. 14:30. The defendants were jointly tried, convicted and sentenced to death. On appeal, this court reversed those convictions and sentences and remanded the proceedings to the district court for a new trial. 278 So.2d 86 (1973).
