Defendant was indicted on July 20, 1973, on a charge of criminal activity in drugs, alleged to have been committed on April 17, 1972. She was arrested promptly after the indictment was returned. On August 3, 1973, she filed a motion to dismiss on the ground that there was an unreasonable delay in issuing the indictment and, as a result, she was denied both due process under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments...
