Defendant, Charles Jackson, was convicted by a jury of unarmed robbery, MCLA 750.530; MSA 28.798. He appeals.

A series of robberies and assaults were perpetrated against elderly women in one Detroit neighborhood for about a year prior to defendant's arrest. Nine complaints described a similar modus operandi, and victims of the several crimes were able to furnish police with a composite picture and general description of their attacker. The...
