Plaintiff instituted this suit for damages for personal injuries sustained as a result of a battery allegedly committed upon him by Officer Walter T. Lee of the Baton Rouge City Police. Named as defendants in the suit were Walter T. Lee and the City of Baton Rouge. Judgment was rendered by the trial court in favor of plaintiff and against defendants, in solido, awarding as damages the sum of $3,692.90...
