In June, 1965, the plaintiff, a rigger by trade, was employed by Treadwell Corporation, a New York construction corporation, as a boilermaker foreman. He was hired to supervise the construction of two boilers on a project undertaken by Treadwell, in the performance of a construction contract with the defendant Hudson Pulp & Paper Corporation to expand the latter's industrial plant in Palatka, Florida.
