This action involved certain business activities of plaintiff, St. Regis Paper Company (hereinafter St. Regis), and a meat packaging patent owned by defendant, Tee-Pac, Inc. (hereinafter Tee-Pac). Defendant filed an infringement suit in the Southern District of Ohio, which was pending when plaintiff commenced this action.
