CRAVEN, Circuit Judge:

Michael Williams appeals his conviction by a jury in district court for distributing heroin in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a) (1). Three of the several points of assigned error are worth discussion: the admissibility of a confession, the incourt identification of defendant's "girlfriend," and remarks made by the prosecutor in his closing statement to the jury.
