This action was brought by plaintiff under the provisions of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, 29 U.S.C. §§ 621-634. Jurisdiction is founded on 28 U.S.C. § 1331 and 29 U. S.C. § 626(c). Plaintiff complains that he was discharged from his job with defendant because of his age, which was 56 at the time of his discharge.
