On August 25, 1971, the petitioner was convicted by the respondent, Judge George B. Dillard, in the Municipal Court for the City of Roanoke for having violated § 18.1-238, as amended, of the Virginia Code (1960 Repl.Vol.)1 She was sentenced to serve thirty days in jail, which sentence was suspended for six months, and required to pay...
