In these cases, the defendants were convicted of offenses involving the possession or sale of prohibited substances. Each defendant appealed and the cases were consolidated on appeal. The sole issue in all cases involves the right of the defendants to a speedy trial under the provisions of sections 29-1205 to 29-1209, R.S.Supp., 1971.
