Plaintiff brought this action for conversion of his 1966 Chevrolet automobile and demanded general and punitive damages. The defendant filed a general denial and affirmatively pleaded facts asserting plaintiff's indebtedness to defendant for $32 representing repairs to the automobile, and that this entitled defendant to retain possession of the automobile by reason of its lien for repairs. Judgment was entered for the plaintiff, on the jury's verdict...
