The defendant, Doug Kalagian, was tried by jury in the Circuit Court of St. Clair County on an indictment charging him with the crime of burglary. He was found guilty and was sentenced to the penitentiary for a term of not less than 10 nor more than 20 years. On appeal he contends that the trial court erred in failing to suppress his confession and in excluding certain evidence offered...
