On the afternoon of February 4, 1969, pursuant to a search warrant, four police officers entered an apartment in Richmond County for the purpose of searching for narcotics and a pistol. According to the testimony of the only witness who testified at the suppression hearing, a police officer, they searched continuously while on the premises. However, the search was prolonged by frequent interruptions by persons who arrived at the apartment...
