Plaintiff Robert Hobbs was injured while drilling post holes when the gasoline-powered auger he was operating struck a buried electrical power line belonging to defendant, Detroit Edison. He brought suit against Detroit Edison for his resulting injuries and now appeals from a directed verdict of no cause of action and the denial of a subsequent motion for a new trial.
