On March 27, 1964, Jennifer Jones, aged ten, was taken by her mother, Hazel O'Banner, to see Dr. George Logwood, the family dentist. Dr. Logwood informed Mrs. O'Banner that Jennifer needed oral surgery and referred her to defendants' clinic.
