CASE, Judge.

Appellant Hunt was initially charged by information with forgery in violation of A.R.S. § 13-421 (as amended 1966), to which he entered a plea of not guilty. The punishment set forth for a violation of this statute is imprisonment in the state prison for a term of not less than one nor more than fourteen years. On 27 February 1970, as a result of a plea bargain, an amended information was filed charging Hunt with violation of the bogus check statute...
