Defendant appeals as of right his jury-based conviction of armed robbery, contrary to MCLA 750.529; MSA 28.797.

On December 31, 1969, a man entered a shoe store, selected three pairs of shoes, then robbed the owner at gunpoint, taking money and the shoes. He drove away in a car he had stolen at gunpoint several hours before.
