Defendant appeals from his conviction upon a verdict of guilty by a jury of the charge of armed robbery of a bank by the use of a dangerous weapon in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2113(a) and 2113(d). He was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 18 years by The Honorable Edward J. Devitt, Chief Judge of the United States District Court, District of Minnesota.
