This is an action for recovery of damages for personal injury, founded upon the court's diversity jurisdiction. At the time of injury, plaintiff Joe Grant was employed by Lakey Foundry Company as an operator of an edge blow core machine manufactured by defendant Demmler Manufacturing Company, presently a subsidiary of National Acme Company.
