Leroy Nessmith instituted this suit for damages for personal injuries sustained by him when a portable derrick, being used by his employer, came in contact with a high voltage electrical transmission line owned by Central Louisiana Electric Company, Inc. The suit was dismissed as to some defendants, but those remaining are Central Louisiana Electric Company, Inc. (Cleco), E. J. Gunter, and Wilfred "T Boy" Ardoin.
