Following the petitioner's conviction after a jury trial of bank robbery in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a) and of bank larceny in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(b), this Court, on April 3, 1970, sentenced him to 16 years' imprisonment on count one, and on count two suspended imposition of sentence and placed him on probation for two minutes.
