This case clearly lends itself to a joint trial. In view of the dependency of this case upon the situation involved in the other two cases, and the overlapping nature of the facts and causes of action, this case should be part of a joint trial with the other two. The defendants-respondents have accepted this suggestion. As was so lucidly stated in Padilla v. Greyhound Lines (29 A.D.2d 495), a joint trial does not mean consolidation...
