LEMMON, Judge.

A. J. Toups, Inc., a general contractor, entered into a building contract with Jole, Inc., as owner, to construct an addition to a commercial building for a price of $40,870.00. Jole's architect prepared the plans and specifications, the requirements of which included perimeter footing of concrete with a minimum crushing strength of 3,000 pounds per square inch (p. s. i.) when 28 days old.
