This is an appeal from a judgment of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York denying appellant's motion to confirm a series of arbitration awards.

The issue here is whether the parties had a valid agreement to arbitrate at the time the dispute arose; if there was no such agreement, appellees were under no obligation to arbitrate, and the awards against them cannot stand. See Procter & Gamble Independent...
