Jean Sinclair was convicted following a sixteen-day State jury trial in the District Court of Salt Lake City, Utah, of the crime of first degree murder of one Don LeRoy Foster. Following a jury recommendation for leniency the Court sentenced Sinclair to life imprisonment. Her conviction was affirmed by the Utah Supreme Court. State v. Sinclair, 15 Utah.2d 162
