Appellant was found guilty on one count (count 1) of transporting a stolen motor vehicle interstate, 18 U.S.C. § 2312 (1970), and three counts (counts 2, 3 and 4) of interstate transportation of stolen firearms, 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(i), 924(a) (Supp.1971).
