This is a suit for personal injuries suffered by plaintiff when the taxicab he was operating was struck in the rear by a vehicle owned by Turnbull Cone Baking Company of Louisiana and insured by Fireman's Fund American Insurance Companies. Trial before a jury resulted in a verdict in favor of plaintiff by a vote of 10 to 2 awarding him $38,200.00, of which $3,200.00 represented special damages.
