The plaintiff, a model specializing in photographs of her face and head, was injured by a hand-truck propelled by the defendant Pagan and suffered facial scars. In view of her special profession, we do not regard the verdict of the jury as excessive. Nor do we find the action of the Trial Justice in recalling a witness, sua sponte, an altogether unwarrantedly officious act, so prejudicial as to taint the verdict. In our courts, the Presiding Judge does have some latitude...
