SWEENEY, J.

Defendant was indicted on two counts of possession of a forged instrument in the second degree and one count of petit larceny to which he pleaded not guilty. While confined to the county jail pending trial he escaped and was subsequently indicted for escape, first degree. He was tried on the first indictment and found guilty as charged. He received an indeterminate sentence with a maximum of three years on each possession count to run concurrently...
