This matter is on appeal from a judgment awarding damages for personal injuries sustained as a result of an automobile accident.

The jury rendered a verdict in favor of plaintiff, William M. Floyd, individually, and against the defendants, the City of New Orleans and the Travelers Insurance Company, in solido, in the sum of $504.99. The said amount constituted special damages.
