UDALL, Justice.

Defendant, Clarence Simon Molina, was tried before a jury and found guilty of first-degree rape. He was sentenced to a prison term of from twenty to twenty-five years.

Defendant's sole contention on appeal is that the sentence was excessive, in light of the fact that this was his first felony conviction, that at the time of the commission of the crime he was only 20 years old, and that he, because of being intoxicated, did not remember committing...
