Appellant Weyer was convicted on May 5, 1967 on two counts of violation of the National Firearms Act, 26 U.S.C. § 5801 et seq. Both counts stemmed from possession of a single machine gun, which was not registered under 26 U.S. C. § 5841, and not transferred to Weyer pursuant to an order form as required by 26 U.S.C. § 5814.
