David Joseph Andrews, hereinafter referred to as defendant Andrews, and Jean Ellen Hughes, hereinafter referred to as defendant Hughes, were each convicted of two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and were sentenced to serve not less than 25 or more than 30 years on each count to run concurrently.
