Wright has been convicted of interstate transportation of a motor vehicle in violation of 18 U.S.C.A. § 2312.

The evidence showed that the vehicle, a 1968 Cadillac, was on a used-car parking lot in Chicago, Illinois, on Saturday, September 27, 1969. It was discovered missing the following Monday morning, September 29, 1969. Defendant was apprehended driving it in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 1, 1969.
