On May 14, 1957, Woodard's prior testimony at a suppression hearing was admitted against him as affirmative evidence of guilt during his trial in which he was found guilty of robbery, interstate transportation of a forged instrument and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Upon conviction he was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of two to ten years for robbery and to terms of one to three years on each of the other offenses, all sentences...
