Defendant Panczko and Margaret Gorman were jointly indicted in one count for giving money to Sue M. Taylor to influence her action as a petit juror in a case, United States v. Paul Panczko, then pending in the district court, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 201(b); and in another count for "corruptly * * * endeavoring" to impede the "due administration of justice" by that conduct in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1503.
