Following a jury determination that he was mentally ill and likely to injure himself or others, appellant was committed to Saint Elizabeths Hospital under the District of Columbia Hospitalization of the Mentally Ill Act, D.C.Code § 21-545(b) (1967).1 On this appeal, he urges that there was no competent evidence to support the finding that he was "likely to injure himself or others"; that hearsay evidence...
