Elinore Sedley brought action against the City of West Buechel, Kentucky, seeking a limited recovery on certain defaulted revenue bonds of the city, which she owned and held. The city moved that the action be dismissed on the ground of res judicata, by reason of an adjudication, in a previous suit in federal court, that the bond issue was invalid.
