Joseph Edward Domingo, petitioner in this proceeding, and Ronald Weston Daniels, were jointly charged, tried and convicted of the offenses of selling marijuana, occurring respectively on August 21, 1964 and September 1, 1964. The trial commenced on December 7, 1964, and concluded December 14, 1964. Domingo was sentenced to imprisonment in the state prison.
