The instant coram nobis application, to vacate a judgment of conviction rendered in 1957 on defendant's plea of guilty of manslaughter in the first degree during trial, was based in substance on his claim that the trial court had erred in failing to inquire into his sanity before accepting his plea and imposing sentence.
