Appellant Mrs. Davis (a plaintiff in the District Court), a District of Columbia schoolteacher, was a passenger in a car being driven by a fellow schoolteacher, Mrs. Harrod (one of the appellees), from the school at which they worked to a meeting of teachers at another school. While en route an accident occurred, allegedly caused by Mrs. Harrod's negligence. Mrs. Davis received benefits for her injuries under the Federal Employees...
