After a jury trial, defendant was found guilty of four narcotic offenses under Section 4705(a) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (26 U.S.C. § 4705 (a)), and Section 174 of Title 21, United States Code, and given a 12-year prison sentence. During the critical periods involved, the Government's informer, James Hartley, wore a miniature radio transmitter.
