Appellant Sisk was tried in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee for dealing in counterfeit Federal Reserve Bank notes. The grand jury returned a two-count indictment: the first for a violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 471, 472 and the second for a violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 472, 473.
